New Delhi, India, February 25, 2022 – Nissan Magnite has achieved a 4-star safety rating in adult occupant protection in the latest round of Global NCAP tests. Designed under the ‘Make in India, Made for the World’ philosophy, the Magnite delivers safety, stability, and reliability across diverse driving conditions—from busy city roads to steep hilly terrains.

The tested model was the XL manual (base variant). Built to meet Indian safety regulations, the Big, Bold, and Beautiful Nissan Magnite offers essential safety features including Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Hydraulic Brake Assist (HBA), Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Start Assist (HSA), speed-sensing door lock, central locking, and SRS dual airbags with pretensioner and load limiter seatbelts.

Continuing its commitment to road safety, Nissan India has launched the #BeANissanBlindSpotter initiative – a multi-partner project aimed at identifying India’s most accident-prone blind spots. This campaign is run in partnership with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), Indian Road Safety Campaign (IRSC), and MapMyIndia.

The all-new Nissan Magnite also offers excellent interior packaging, comfort, and functionality. Its horizontal instrument panel and double-deck console enhance space and usability. The optional Tech Pack includes a wireless charger, air purifier, puddle lamps, ambient/mood lighting, and premium JBL speakers powered by Harman.

“At Nissan, safety has always been a priority. We value research, reinvention, and building cars that reflect stability and performance. This rating affirms our efforts toward making the Magnite one of the safest cars in India,” said Sinan Ozkok, President of Nissan’s India operations.
